Dean & Jeannine started riding a Gold Wing in 2008. Their first Gold Wing was a 1999 White 1500 which they currently ride and have about 210,000 miles on it. They attended their first GWRRA meeting in 2008 right after buying their Gold Wing from a Chapter A member.

Prior to being the Chapter Directors from February, 2009 to July, 2010 they were the Chapter Assistant Ride Coordinators for a short period of time.Their favorite scenic ride is up to the White Mountains.

Dean & Jeannine met in 1983 when Jeannine was a student living in the dorms at a women’s university, and Dean was living in the military dorm on the local Air Force Base. Jeannine’s university had social functions with the military and they met at one of the dances that were held. As a family, they’ve been stationed at a variety of bases in Texas, Maryland, and Japan; they moved to Tucson at the end of 1996. Dean has also been unaccompanied to Korea, Hungary, Kuwait, and Oman (in support of Operations Enduring / Iraqi Freedom).

The first 3.5 yrs of Dean’s career, he was in the Military Police, then cross trained into cryptographic maintenance and then cross trained  into computer networking. Dean retired from the Air Force after over 21 years of service. He’s now a systems administrator at a local defense contractor.

They enjoy riding their bike, bowling with a league, and spoiling their granddaughter.
Jeannine got her nursing license early last year and is currently working as the weekend Supervisor at a local nursing home. They have been married 26 years and have a son and a daughter, and one baby granddaughter that all live here in Tucson.
